Eusense makes decent quality jewelry, sort of fitting the £20-£30 range. I have reviewed other items from them and I like their design.This sunflower necklace is great for casual outings. The pendant is fairly large, with a bit of weight to it. It is one sided, but the other side isn't rough or ugly - it does have a decent finish. You'll also find the silver stamp there.I like the sunflower design. It is gold plated and the petals are nicely made. The top bit has animal paws on it, which look cute but I'd prefer the butterflies, like on the item page. It's not bad though. The center of the sunflower is a circle filled with cubic zirconias. They catch the light very nicely.The heart is well shaped and the sign is clearly engraved. A bit cheesy but it fits the casual style.The chain is fairly standard, not too thin but delicate enough. It shouldn't have an issue with holding the pendant. It has a standard clasp, with a small plate next to it that has another silver stamp engraved, along with the sign 'Italy'.The box is a typical paper one used by Eusense. This one however revealed a bit of a weakness - it was poorly glued and first the back part came off, then the whole bottom. Luckily nothing that a bit of super glue can't handle and after a few minutes it was back to normal. Other manufacturers do invest in better boxes though, with their jewelry often being in cheaper range.Overall I like this necklace and think it's great as a gift for your loved ones. It will fit a teenage girl as well as a mid-aged woman. The price of £28 is a little bit high but not by much. If Eusense invests in better boxes, it may increase the value. I hope you found it helpful.Eusense Sunflower Necklace, 925 Sterling Silver You are My Sunshine Heart PendantThis necklace is ever so beautiful, a perfect gift for any pet lover due to the lovely detailed paws above the sunflower and can be gifted on any occasion, featuring lovely intricate detail, a fine shaped Sunflower with Cubic Zirconia centred in the middle of the flower, the words 'You are my sunshine' has been clearly engraved on the left hand side of the heart, just stunning!The presentation box, from the outside looks suitable, however, the inside isn't the best to be honest. The necklace has been placed in a small zip-lock bag, this is accompanied with a small polishing cloth and both of these just sit on the black velvet foam insert. If you're going to be buying this as a gift, which no doubt you will be, then it's best to tidy the presentation up beforehand, once done the necklace will look even more beautiful. The box does have a magnetic closing flap.I've tried to take some close up photos but my camera isn't that good I'm afraid, the pendant is in a shape of a heart, made from sterling silver 925 (92.5% silver), the Cubic Zirconia isn't the most light catching but is noticeable and adds that extra touch to the pendant. The paw prints, that have been positioned on the upper right of the sunflower, form part of the petals, there's probably around 6 paw prints, some more clearly defined than others.The round spring clasp is very secure and again, has been made to a very high standard. The chain is 18 inches long, the heart measures 2.1 x 2.1cm. The sunflower is 18K gold plated, I would've preferred the paw prints to maybe have been finished in silver, without the gold plating, as this would've probably made the paw prints stand out more somewhat.The weight of the pendant is 5g, it's is lead and nickel free which should help with people with skin allergies.My wife really likes this necklace, she thinks it's beautiful, she likes how the links catch the light and shine, she says the chain is delicate yet sturdy, there's nothing flimsy about it, the workmanship on the necklace is top quality,I would quite easily be willing to pay £27.99 for this pendant, if my wife's reaction is anything to go by then it's worth it.Highly recommended.With a 45cm chain length, this just about fits me but may not be the best length for everyone - so worth checking prior to purchase. The chain and the necklace are separately packaged in small resealable plastic bags along with a folded silver cleaning cloth inside a white branded box.Unfortunately, the box had come apart a little in transit. There's a magnetic closure to the front but opposite this one of the inner box faces had dried glue on it - nothing unfixable but I'd suggest you check it over prior to gifting and consider removing the pendant and chain from their plastic bags and arranging them on the padded foam insert.The pendant is really the main attraction here with its 'You are my sunshine' message. This is from the lyric of a celebrated 1930s song and the words are very legible. Both chain and pendant - which is a good size at 2.1x2.1cm - are stamped 925 silver. This is not one of those tiny pendants that's barely visible.I think this Eusense sunflower necklace would make an especially appropriate gift from parents to daughters or grandparents to granddaughters. It would be perfect even for a young girl's first necklace and the pendant part is robust and well made so could be added to other chains with the passing years if desired. The apertures at the top of the pendant make it very suitable for this.Good quality, this necklace is reasonably priced in my view - a very attractive item of jewellery. It's versatile too with 925 silver plus gold tone and tiny crystals on the inner part of the sunflower so will tone in with other pieces.The design of this necklace is beautiful. everyone loves sunflowers and such beautiful engravings on this "you are my sunshine", great rrp as it looks much more expensive.If giving this as a gift I would recomend opening the jewlery box 1st and removing the palstic nag the necklace arrives in. Whiel i understand th reasoning behind using a plastic bag to protect the necklace for me this bag cheapens the necklace and it's aslo a waste of plastic.The necklace itself is clealry very well made with good materials , great value for money as it does look far more epensive then the rrp.This is a really lovely necklace, is well made and looks very nice.I love sunflowers they are very special.This is a very nice gift idea, but the box is made in very poor quality and the base of the lid peels off from the box, so you will need another box if you want it for a gift, a part of this is a beautiful necklace.
